According to EUPD Research, Spain has emerged as a key player in the global solar PV sector, ranking second in Europe in terms of installed capacity. Over the past five years, the country’s solar PV capacity has grown from 15.9 GWdc in 2020 to 48.1 GWdc in 2024, reflecting an impressive CAGR of 32%. In 2024 alone, Spain added approximately 8.2 GWdc of new capacity.
One of the primary drivers of this growth has been the renewable power purchase agreement (PPA) market, which has supported nearly all utility-scale solar installations in recent years. However, Spain’s self-consumption segment has faced a slowdown in 2023 and 2024, largely due to stabilized electricity prices and reduced incentives.

Revitalizing Solar Plant Efficiency with AUXSOL | February 11 AUXSOL leverages cutting-edge technology to maximize solar efficiency. In a recent project in Spain, the AUXSOL ASN-100TL inverter was used to revitalize the aging photovoltaic plant. AUXSOL's inverter’s MPPT technology balances voltage and ensures the efficient use of existing cables. Even in the challenging generation conditions of December, the plant achieved peak performance multiple times.
AUXSOL’s continued support ensures optimal performance and long-term optimization for our clients’ solar systems.

Revolutionizing Home Energy Storage: Key Trends and the Role of Bypass Technology in Enhancing Efficiency
| February 3 Home energy storage systems are evolving rapidly due to the rising demand for clean energy. Key trends include higher capacity and modularity for flexibility, integration of batteries and inverters for simpler installation, smart management via advanced BMS using IoT, and recyclability for sustainability. In master-slave multi-module battery systems, SOC imbalances among modules connected in series reduce capacity. Bypass technology addresses this by enabling intelligent module string switching for rapid capacity balancing.

Solar Fabrik - Price Increases in China – What it Means for You | JanuarySolar Fabrik is currently observing rising prices in China. Between mid-December and mid-January alone, the cost of some module components has increased by 20%. The next price hike is expected shortly after Chinese New Year.
What does this mean for Europe?
For now, many warehouses across Europe remain well-stocked, which means these price increases won’t have an immediate impact. However, we anticipate rising prices in Europe and Germany over the coming months.
What does this mean for Solar Fabrik?
Thanks to their strong supplier relationships, they are still able to offer slight price reductions at this point – making it even more attractive for you. However, market shortages are already becoming apparent.
For example, the S5 Installer Series 315 Watt and S4 Trend Full Black 445 Watt are currently out of stock. New shipments are on their way, that is why they recommend securing your share as soon as possible.
Don’t hesitate to reach out – Solar Fabrik is here for you!
