According to EUPD Research, the European energy storage market experienced strong growth in 2023, especially in commercial EES. However, data from our EES InstallerMonitor© 2023/2024 shows that the share of smaller residential storage systems (under 15 kWh) increased by 5 percentage points compared to 2022. Markets like Italy and Austria saw the highest growth in residential storage, while commercial storage led in other regions.
