As we are getting closer to KEY - The Energy Transition Expo in Rimini, let's take a look at the Italian PV market! According to data from EUPD Research, the past year has been a good one for the country, with a year-over-year growth of 111% increase in respect to the capacity installed in 2022. After significant growth in installed PV capacity in Q4, Italy closed out 2023 with a yearly installed capacity of 5,23 GW. The residential segment leads the way and makes up about 45% of the added capacity, followed by commercial (34%), and industrial and utility (~21%).
