According to EUPD Research's PV InstallerMonitor© | EES InstallerMonitor© 370+ of the surveyed German PV installers for the 2024/2025 report stated that 53% of rooftop PV installations remain in the residential segment (up to 20 kWp). Among installers active in both residential and C&I sectors, more than half of the PV capacity installed in 2024 came from systems above 21 kWp.
