According to data from the Market Master Data Register of the Federal Network Agency shared by EUPD Research, buildings make up a significant portion of PV capacity and PV systems installed in Germany during the first three quarters of 2024. 73% of PV capacity is installed on buildings (71% of PV systems), while 26% is ground mounted (0.3% of PV systems). And while they only make up 2% of PV capacity, balcony systems account for 29% of newly installed PV systems. |
