Germany's residential PV segment continued its growth path in the first half of 2023, with 450,000 PV systems (up to 15 kWp capacity) installed over the course of the first two quarters. EUPD Research also notes that small-scale systems made up a significant portion of the second quarter's newly installed systems with 36%. According to them, this confirms the trend of the increasing popularity of balcony PV systems.
