According to the uptake scenario "Transforming Energy Scenario (TES)" proposed in the Renewable Energy Roadmap: Nigeria developed by IRENA in collaboration with the Energy Commission of Nigeria, the share of renewable share in power generation could reach 70% of total generation by 2030 and 84% by 2050. The report analyzes the country's additional renewable energy deployment potential up to the year 2050 in light of its growing energy demand.
