According to predictions made by the Global Energy Transition (GET) Matrix by EUPD Research, the EU and UK are going to install 47 GW of PV capacity in 2024. The preceding years are expected to bring in an additional installed capacity of about 36 GW by the end of this year and 39 GW by the end of 2023. Germany is expected to continue to take up the spot of the leading PV market in the EU and UK, though EUPD Research predicts that other regions and countries can look forward to significant growth due to improving market dynamics.

4700 Meters – Envicool Assists the World's Highest Altitude Energy Storage Power Station in Tibet | December 12

Envicool assists the world's highest altitude energy storage power station - Yangyi Photovoltaic Power Station to be put into operation in Dangxiong, Tibet which the altitude amounts to 4700 Meters! Envicool cooling solution helps to improve the regulation capacity of photovoltaic power stations and greatly reduces the abandoned power. The annual on-grid electricity of the power station can be increased by about 2.6 million KWH, which is equivalent to meeting the annual electricity consumption of about 900 local households!

Sunova Solar to Supply 122 MW Panels for Solar Parks in the Netherlands | November 30 

Sunova Solar, a Chinese module manufacturer, and Dutch solar park developer PowerField signed a PV module supply agreement under which Sunova Solar will provide a total of 122 MW of its high-efficient PV panels for solar parks. Once the solar parks, which are currently developed by PowerField are successfully connected to the grid, Sunova Solar will hence have a 10% market share of the estimated 1.1 GW 2023 market in the Netherlands.
