According to the Global PV InstallerMonitor 2021/2022© South Africa by EUPD Research, the quality is the most important feature companies consider when deciding on a storage brand to purchase from, with 96% of surveyed installers stating to consider the feature "very important". Other named features include guarantee conditions with 76%, online maintenance access with 80%, and product availability with 77% of those surveyed stating to consider them "very important".

Shanghai goes all-in on hydrogen, with plans for H2 port, pipelines and trading platform | August 31
Local administration unveils moves that would effectively make the world's third-largest city the centre of China's clean hydrogen ambitions. The city of Shanghai has announced major plans to become China's de facto centre for clean hydrogen, unveiling a slew of wide-ranging policies that include the creation of a national hydrogen trading platform, and the construction of a “leading hydrogen energy port”, a regional H2 pipeline network, and a physical hydrogen trading hub.

ib vogt has Closed Financing on 135 MWp Solar Plant in Poland | August 31
ib vogt has agreed with BayernLB and Siemens Financial Services through Siemens Bank on the financing of 135 MWp of solar PV power generation under construction in Poland. The solar project marks a significant investment in Poland’s renewable energy sector with a total commitment of USD 90.4 million. Commercial operation of the first section is expected in September 2022, the full project will be operational by the beginning of 2023.

August saw a key achievement in Azelio’s collaboration with South African mixed farming company Wee Bee Ltd, as the first TES.POD long-duration energy storage units were installed at the project site in Coligny, North West Province.
Wee Bee Ltd has a current grid connection that is unreliable, expensive, and fossil-based. Azelio’s TES.POD long-duration energy storage solution will charge from solar PV, to provide dispatchable heat and electricity.
